HOW MANY ARMM DEVICES DO WE NEED FOR HOME USE?

We recommend one ARMM Transfer device per individual needing assistance with transfers. The device is designed for personal use, making it an ideal solution for anyone with mobility challenges who needs help moving between beds, chairs, and other locations. If you plan on using the ARMM Transfer device with multiple users, we recommend purchasing individual wheelchair connectors for every wheelchair.

DO YOU HAVE A PRODUCT INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR THE ARMM?

Our product manual and instruction videos are available on our website. Users must log in for access. Every device shipped is shipped with a product manual in English, French & Spanish.

CAN THE ARMM BE USED WITH ANY MANUAL WHEELCHAIR?

The ARMM Transfer is designed to be versatile, but we recommend using our Compatibility Tool to confirm compatibility with your specific manual wheelchair model.

DOES THE ARMM ADJUST FOR DIFFERENT USER HEIGHTS?

Yes, the ARMM Transfer is adjustable to accommodate different user heights ensuring comfort and proper functionality. Please refer to the manual on instruction to adjust the height the ARMM Transfer device.

CAN THE ARMM BE USED OUTDOORS?

The ARMM Transfer is designed for use on flat indoor terrain. Although it can be used outdoors, we recommend extreme caution ensuring the walking path is free of debris and is considered a flat service. If you do use outdoors, please inspect the device very carefully before usage.

WHAT IS THE WEIGHT LIMIT FOR THE ARMM?

The ARMM Transfer device is designed to safely accommodate individuals weighing up to 300 pounds.

DOES THE ARMM HAVE A STRONG GRIP FOR USERS TO HOLD ONTO?

Yes, the ARMM Transfer is made from powder-coated steel with an anti-slip coating, providing a secure and comfortable grip for users during transfers.

CAN THE ARMM BE USED BY PAEDIATRIC USERS?

The ARMM Transfer is primarily designed for adult use. For paediatric applications, please consult with our customer support team at info@bisep.org for specific guidance.

IS THE ARMM HEALTH CANADA & FDA APPROVED?

Yes, the ARMM Ambulate is considered a Class 1 Medical device and is registered and approved under both Health Canada & Food and Drug Administration Act (FDA).

WHAT INSPIRED THE CREATION OF THE ARMM?

The ARMM Transfer was developed to provide a safer, more comfortable transfer solution for individuals with mobility challenges. Inspired by the need for independence and improved quality of life, our founder, while working as a registered Kinesiologist, designed the ARMM Transfer to make daily transfers easier and more secure.

DOES THE ARMM REQUIRE ASSEMBLY?

The ARMM Transfer does require some assembly when you receive the device. The device is fully assembled but you will need to set up the wheelchair connectors. After the initial installation, it will be easy to connect & remove the ARMM Transfer & wheelchair connectors. We highly recommend a healthcare professional or family member install the device for you.

The Wheelchair Connector is designed to attach manual wheelchairs securely to the ARMM Transfer or ARMM Ambulate devices, enabling safe and stable mobility or transfer assistance.

CAN THE WHEELCHAIR CONNECTOR BE USED WITH ANY MANUAL WHEELCHAIR?

The Wheelchair Connector is compatible with most manual wheelchairs. However, we recommend using our Compatibility Tool to verify compatibility with your specific wheelchair model.

IS THE WHEELCHAIR CONNECTOR EASY TO INSTALL?

Yes, the Wheelchair Connector is designed for easy installation with clear instructions. NO TOOLS REQUIRED. It attaches securely to most manual wheelchairs without the need for special tools.

DOES THE WHEELCHAIR CONNECTOR REQUIRE MAINTENANCE?

DOES THE ARMM COME WITH A WARRANTY?

Yes, both the ARMM Ambulate & ARMM Transfer come with a limited 2-year product warranty. The warranty is automatically initiated on the date of delivery. Please refer to our warranty policy for details.

CAN I RETURN THE ARMM IF I'M NOT SATISFIED?

Yes, we offer a satisfaction guarantee. If you're not happy with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days for a refund.

ARE THERE ANY FINANCING OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR THE ARMM DEVICE?

We do not offer financing options for the ARMM Ambulate or ARMM Transfer at this time.

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email to monitor its delivery status.

IS INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AVAILABLE?

At this time we only offer international shipping to the United States. Shipping rates and delivery times vary by location. If you are located outside of the United States please fill out our contact form and we may be able to service you.

ARE THERE ANY DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE FOR BULK PURCHASES OF THE ARMM?

Yes, we offer discounts for bulk purchases and Group Purchasing Organizations such as HealthPro and Mohawk Medbuy. Contact our sales team for more information on bulk order pricing.

HOW WILL THE ARMM DEVICE BE SHIPPED?

The ARMM Ambulate & ARMM Transfer will be shipped in a standard cardboard box and comes assembled. We use multiple carriers for shipment including (Canada Post, FedEx, UPS, USPS, other private carriers).

DOES THE ARMM DEVICE QUALIFY FOR ANY GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS?

We are working to have the inclusion of the ARMM Device in government reimbursement assistance programs in both Canada and the USA.
